I haven’t shopped at Ulta in years due to their very predatory ways of collecting your personal information. However, I needed some thing and they were next to another store and I’m out of time so I popped in.

The staff at this location were very nice and helpful. However, as I went to check out, i was informed the store has a policy of not accepting returns unless it’s associated with a phone number. Even with a receipt.

When I’m trying to buy a product for $50 that I’m not sure about I do not appreciate having my ability to return, said product being based on whether or not, I allowed them to have my phone number.

Looks like I will continue to not spend my money at Ulta.

We went to Ulta to look for makeup to wear to Homecoming. On another occasion, awhile back, we found stage makeup for a high school musical theater performance. The shop has a variety of options at a reasonable price.

First time in the store, not greeted by several team members that I walked by. Went in for a product that is specialized, only knew one brand that had it. The team member said they didn’t carry it anymore. Didn’t offer help finding something that would replace it and the rest of the staff, aside from the one cashier, was busy having personal conversations rather than assisting customers on the floor or the line to check out. Guess customers don’t matter and no wonder they have a 2.5 rating.

I stopped in a few days ago to buy some giftcards and check out their deals. Never been to this location before. But when me and my bf walked in. We browsed around for a bit before we were approached by a blonde lady with shoulder length hair. It looked like she might be a manager there. She asked if we needed help finding anything but by the look on her face, it did not seem like she was too happy to help us. I asked her about some sales I saw online and she said they did not have any of those items. I thanked her for her “help” and we kept browsing. She was chatting with a coworker but as soon as we headed to a different part of the store she kept following us. I just find it strange that she had all that time to follow us and chat meanwhile several sections in the store were messy. Priorities I guess. The cashier who helped us was very friendly. Unfortunately the manager made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed.
