Customer Reviews:
Five minutes later the employees were practicing recall with a full grown shepherd and running it through the store. It was on leash but it came tearing around the corner right toward my daughter and me. Again, I was in the fish section. Why is dog training happening there? I saw no signs saying training was going on in the store. Don’t they have training rooms or set times? There were elderly people shopping there today too. It was a Sunday at 11 a.m. Shoppers everywhere.
Luckily the dog bite didn’t break skin, otherwise I’d be addressing this with more than just a bad review. Instead, I’ll shop elsewhere. And when my dog needs training, I won’t be bringing him here.
When you speak to store leadership, like Kylie, you’re told it’s not their area so they can’t help you. They’ve been alerted at least 5 times that this is a problem and have done nothing to solve it. When I spoke with Kylie on Monday and shared these temps could be fatal there was radio silence and when asked what would be done I was told “we don’t have someone for that area so I’m not sure.”
I’ve placed complaints with petco anonymous tip line, their corporate headquarters, Larimer county humane society, I’m genuinely at a loss for what to do at this point but want others aware of who they’re supporting.
