my pedi turned out beautiful, so my technician was fantastic, but the place was in pretty poor shape. just messy and kinda dirty. could use a big professional clean up and atmosphere change bit my toes are gorgeous. also the price was very nice.

Mela Unlimited
I went just for a pedicure and the guy talked me up to get a mani also. I told him I was short on time but he said would be done on time and it wasn’t. The people were friendly but the work was bad. The person doing my toes cut skin by my cuticles and left scabs after and the gel mani lasted a week before the were lifting at the base. I have never had that happen at any shop EVER!

Have been a customer for few years. Service has been going downhill. Constantly overbooked so now they have someone do your pedicure and someone else do manicure. The young guy there today, treated me like a slab of meat. Was very rough and surly. Worst manicure ever, considering I don’t have polish applied. Nails and cuticles are a mess. Finished with that place after all these years. Don’t go there.

I normally have a good experience with Phillips nails, however I went to get acrylics done over my fall break and the lady doing my nails did not let the polish dry all the way. When I got home the top layer of one of my nails peeled off completely, revealing wet paint beneath. It was too late to call and they are closed on Monday and I had to return to college. 5 days later the top layer on another nail peeled off revealing more wet paint. When I called them to let them know what happened, I also sent pictures which I attached to this post. The owner said that the black paint is just like that and that they cannot do anything if I do not return within a week of my appointment. I am at college and cannot return within that time frame. They informed me there was nothing they could do. If you plan on getting black acrylics don’t try this place since it will apparently not dry and will end up staining your clothes if you aren’t careful. However, the receptionist was very apologetic and understood my frustration which I appreciated. My money was still wasted though.
