Julie always does a great job, so happy with my mani and can’t wait to come back for my regular appointment! One of the ladies brings her dog, Pebble, and she is so cute. Definitely recommend this place- they are so clean and my nails always last 3+ weeks! A stand out from the other salons I’ve tried in Tampa.

I walked in and the first thing she asked me is did I live in the area and proceeded to do my nails I blatantly ignored the ignorance of her question I guess you can clearly tell what skin color I am by now. Anyways, I ignored my feelings of offense and Let her continue to do my nails. She began to suggest using a different acrylic of some sort on my fingers which I had no idea about and because I was used to the regular acrylic. I told her I would prefer to stick to it. She then said it was just $10 more. I said well, how much is the whole thing anyways she said $80 for short nails. I never even asked a price anyways because I didn’t care. I still told her to just stick with the regular acrylic because I do not know what product that was that she wanted to use and I was not used to it and I would prefer to stick to my regular acrylic. After I said, so, she proceeded to say that next time I come, I should bring more money with me so that she can do it. At this point, I was really in awe And not in the best way I was shocked at what she was saying right next to another customer. I responded with a subtle it’s not about the not having enough, I just said I would like to stick to my regular acrylic after she tried multiple times to get me to use that product of hers and I declined. She finally gave up. I left without leaving a tip because this was just blatant racism and I am not from America, so I am not obsessed with black or white but I do know racism when I see it and blatant stereotypical behavior, and I hope no one else experience this -1/10 experience. She assumed I didn’t have enough money in my pocket when I walked in and she assumed that I wasn’t from this area because of the skin color I had and she made multiple other comments but I Don’t want to make this a very long paragraph. I just want to say in all of this, I did keep my cool and responded in silence, and walked out.

updated rating from 4 stars to 1 star. i came in for a gel mani and was pushed very hard to get the hard gel (virtually forced into it). just got the hard gel taken off my nails and the divots in my nails are so deep. this place ruined my nails!

Purely 1 star due to the poor service. First of all, I was told it would be a 2 minute wait but it was way longer. Be honest about wait times. Second of all the salon is not clean. Third of all, the water was cold for my pedicure and I kept asking for it to be warmer and she literally had to take a bucket and remove water and add water. Then I asked for a color she had on the rack and she said she didn’t have it. Then everyone around me was being offered a massage for a pedicure or being asked what kind of service they wanted. And I didn’t get asked anything. Painted my toes and put cream on my wet legs for a second. My UV gel pedicure was shorter in length a regular pedicure.
