Pros: cute salon with easy parking. Pricing is decent for the big island

Cons: pedicure paint job was poor, and there are no drying stations so they just rushed me out with wet toes as soon as they were finished. In addition to the patchy paint job, it also smeared as I was walking to counter to pay and they just shrugged and moved onto the next customer.

I’d say avoid on weekends when they are super busy as you won’t have time to dry.

Got me in quickly on a walk in. Was speedy, and accommodated the lighter colors I chose haha! Very nice

I have been going here pretty consistently, bi-weekly/monthly. I have since noticed some things. Tools are not cleaned after use nor do they sit in acetone or isopropyl alcohol. My mother has developed foot fungus from this. Additionally, this last Saturday I went for my usual pedicure. I had a nail tech that had previously helped me before. She immediately started cleaning up my toes with unclean tools. Then she went too deep removing skin from both of my big toes. I knew right away that my toes were going to become infected just by the pain I felt from her cutting so far down. I did not have hang nails or anything of the such.

Surely, the next day, both of my bigs toes were swollen, red, and terribly infected. I was so bummed as we have little mail shop options and this place has been my go to. I want it to be still too. I always tip $20 to my nail techs too. I don’t take infections lightly though as I almost got blood poisoning from a foot infection years ago. Feeling reluctant to return as I still sit here with my toes swollen, tender, and discolored.

I think the simple investment in jars containing disinfectant could really help in addition to slowing down a little.

Just okay. Spa pedicure cream for $65 made my legs itch so bad i was clawing at my skin with the foil being used to melt off my old powder. Then the polish on my toes is just not great, and being in Hawaii is rough on the feet. I wish, JUST ONCE, a nail tech would scrub under the nails and in the cuticles to get the sand and grit out – when you get regular pedis you don’t see all that. Don’t just paint over it. Get it out, make it nice and smooth and clean and I will tip accordingly. The guy D who did my pedi and powder mani was his first time doing powder I think and all the edges of every nail are just jagged and rough so I’ll have to file them all down myself. Not wanting to be “that guy” keeps my mouth shut in the shop. But I just paid $109.95 for services I’m just not happy with. It’s sloppy. It just is. No lotion after my manicure. No lotion on my feet after the pedi. Maybe he doesn’t know any better and if that’s the case, if D is in training, or new, then please train him up. Because $110 is not cheap and for that $, the quality should be pretty close to gorgeous if not spectacular. Is it just me?

I have never actually posted a review before but this one hit home really hard. Some context, I have had a nail biting habit for 38 years and decided to get acrylic nails for 8 weeks just to be able to grow my nails out —which worked! So I’ve been able to get my nails done for a couple months now. I have had super work done until today…it was the first time I’ve had this lady work on me and she didn’t ask me how short I wanted my nails cut and just decided to cut 1/4-1/3 of an inch of nails off that I’d been growing and working on growing for months!! She also only put one coat of top polish on and one round of lights for jell polish …I had to tell her to cut round after she decided to do square too…I also had to ask for a second layer of the sparkles…I’ve always had 2-3 top coats with about 6 min of light on each hand (1.5-2 min between each top coat)… I’m utterly devastated—I have an event this weekend and wanted to begin the school year strong but now feel deflated. Now it is the only time this has happened and usually I have super work done but today was gut wrenching and sucks and I’m so incredibly disappointed 😢

After having acrylic nails for 20+ years, thought I could live without them, but nope! Had a wonderful full set put on by V this morning! Thank you so much! I feel much better!!
