Please read before you book here. I got my nails done about 3months ago while in hartford on a whim. I normally don’t go to any other salon for a reason. I also normally do dip but was told acrylic would be better and more sanitary. This was my first red flag. My second red flag was with that immediately upon entry and sitting down for my consultation The nail techs entire workspace was very dirt. the only positive was the owner. she was very nice to me on the phone and in person. I had my nails done by her other nail Tech Which was my third red flag, and I should have left before even starting. I have very sensitive nails and voiced my concerns multiple times before and during my appointment. she reassured me that she will be gentle however, that did not happen. She cut me several times with the drill and file. She also held my fingers so tight the whole time they were throbbing. I had also told her several times not to go near my cuticles because they are highly sensitive However, she did not listen until about the fifth time I told her and had to physically remove my hand when she got the cuticle nippers out as I never let any nail tech regardless of how long I’ve been seeing them use cuticle nippers on me. I had also asked for a regular polish on my toes. However, I was told it was not an option as I had come in boots as it was winter, so I was forced to get gel on my toes even know normally they would provide you with the little foam flip-flops instead. After paying $110 plus tip because I know this is her livelihood and would never not tip I left an was unhappy with the nail design but that the least of my concerns. now three months later, my nails are so damaged that it hurts to pick anything up. I have swelling and inflammation around each finger which has never happened to me in my 10 years of having nails Both dip and acrylic. this only started after getting my nails done at this location when I had no issues for the past three years with my current nail tech back home. I now likely have to go to the doctors to figure out how I can fix this issue as it will not go away on its own And is incredibly painful And I know it was caused by this nail session likely due to her heavy hand and unsanitary work conditions. I personally hate leaving bad reviews. However, this has caused me so much pain that I felt it necessary.

Sue Is great and she tries to work with you. The way she does nails is everything. She gets the shape and thickness right all of the time. The only thing is sometimes she runs behind so just be prepared for a little wait.

Sue is the best nail tech around. Hands down! I am a client for life ❤️

It was my first time here it did take kinda long but it was worth the wait
