Customer Reviews:
They were very nice but the tech did a quick sweep over the acrylic with the grinder and then started prying the acrylic off my nails with an unused acrylic piece. It was hurting but I figured it was just part of the process. Multiple times I was asked by the tech and other techs if I was okay, in pain, and to let them know if I couldn’t handle it. I thought it was odd to be asked so many times but wanted to just push through and get them off. Once they were off, she quickly cut and filed my nails, told me to wash them and then moved to another customer. When washing my hands and nails, I noticed the trim and filing job was less than subpar and I would have to redo them when I got home. I also noticed my nails were very rough on top but just wanted to get out so I paid and left.
When I got home I realized my nails were so rough on top because by prying the acrylic off, the tech ripped off layers of my natural nail, completely destroying half my nails. (In the pictures I’ll attach, you can see the color differences in my individual nails where the nail was ripped off and is different colors because of the different layers showing now, especially one of the pinkies and ring finger next to it)Little did I know, they were supposed to soak my nails with something to take off or soften the acrylic and not just rip it off my nails…
Incredibly disappointing that they couldn’t take the time to remove the acrylic correctly and safely as to not destroy my natural nails and I couldn’t say anything because I had no clue what the correct, safe process should’ve been since I don’t do my nails professionally and I trusted the professionals with good reviews to do a decent job. I’m hoping the nail strengthening polish I had to go buy will help my nails now that they’re flimsy and fragile from being peeled off)
It’s sad that techs like this ruin experiences for people who come in for help and want to look nice and feel good and leave the establishment feeling awful about how they look.
