Janelle is absolutely wonderful. It feels like hanging out with a dear friend. She gave me the best eyebrow wax I’ve ever had and was clean, Professional and as painless as possible! She even throws in little extras to make you feel like you really got your money’s worth. I always leave smiling and am a customer for life. Go see her!

I’ve been seeing Janell for a LONG time now. I absolutely love her and she is SO good at what she does! Normally I’d be too shy to be so public about this but you guys, you should know that she is the most painless Brazilian wax I’ve ever had and I’ve seen so many different people in and outside of Juneau. The quality of her wax is amazing and she is sooooo thorough! Even though it’s not the most pleasant service, she makes it pleasant by just by being herself. I was shocked at the couple negative reviews because Janell gives amazing skin advice and is so knowledgeable. Maybe someone was just offended by her advice? No clue but please just try her awesome business for yourself and form your own opinions.

I am very unhappy with the service I received from Lash & Wax Juneau. I went in for a lash lift only. I did not intend to have any eyebrow shaping. First of all I received no instructions ahead of time for what to expect or what I need to do. I had to work in the morning so I lightly curled my lashes – because they stick straight out.. which is why I got the lash lift. No make up or mascara. Upon arrival the woman rudely stated “is that some curling? Is that what’s going on here?” In a condescending tone. If she didn’t want me to do what I normally do in the mornings she should have sent out instructions or offered to reschedule after explaining that a lash lift will not produce the desired effect on curled lashes. But no instead she proceeded to go forward with the lash lift which took over an hour and 15 minutes… making me late to work and stressed out. She was grunting and muttering to herself the whole time working on my lashes and made me feel horrible like I’ve done something wrong. She then proceeded to “clean up my brows” and she hastily tried to squeeze in a wax and made them uneven. She implemented a massive change to the appearance of my face without notifying me she was doing so… I had no idea she was going to make such a change. In my opinion “cleaning up your brows” is perhaps CLEANING THEM UP and just lightly waxing the areas where I have already shaped my brows. I will never use this service again and would advise anyone to PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Janelle is so wonderful. Her salon is impeccably decorated and immaculately clean. She was so patient with a younger 1st timer to waxing. I highly recommend her establishment.

Janelle is efficient, professional and friendly plus she does great work with her waxing services. Highly recommend!
