Before 55 street opened, I got a pedicure at a fancy spa on the same block, and the woman cut so deeply into the corner of my big toenail, I was actually impressed when she pulled out the huge piece and showed it to me LOL… but the agonizing pain started about a week after as it began to grow back in. I was unable to wear closed toed shoes from April 2023 until the middle of the summer. I had never experienced anything like that before. After months of suffering, it left me traumatized and paranoid to get another pedicure. I took a chance here and tried it out when they first opened in the fall and I had no issues whatsoever, all around outstanding experience. They restored my faith.
You can get the $60 pedicure option if you want to keep it quick and simple, but I go for the $110 top tier service with callus removal, extra massage, and gel polish upgrade. It’s worth every penny, they do a really good spa level service, with long lasting gel paint job. These ladies clearly care about their work.
