2.5 STARS…*sorry for the long review* A friend recommended this place to try out. I have been getting my nails done by the same place for years but I heard they give massages so I was like “I’m going to TRY it”. I got Leo as my nail tech. and he was really nice. It seems clean and somewhat professional. Now to why I gave it such a low rating, 1:the file work (as shown in the pictures below) is not straight. Yes I know my fingers are not straight but u have to file to the finger. It seemed like he was rushing with the filing. Also I asked him to cut my nails but he cut them to short and after the 1st cut u have to go all the way. Can’t have my pinky short with the rest longer. So when he asked me if length was ok I said yes (after he took the pinky all the way down) 2: they dont soak your hands. His cuticle work was half way done at best. Where I go (every 2-3 weeks) they soak your hands in warm water and then take all dead skin off. I get so much dead skin it’s crazy so I was disappointed that he spent all of 45 seconds on all 10 fingers. I even TOLD him that on both my ring fingers I get alot if build up and “to get in there.” but he didn’t listen. There is still so much build up on both my ring fingers. Also he didn’t even take away the cuticle part on some if my fingers, just the sides. 3: the paint job is ok at best. There is a few spots like on my thumb where it’s either not enough or to much polish. Basically it’s not consistent. 4: I was not told to wash my hands after file work. He just dusted them off with the brush and proceeded to paint my nails. I really hope this $35 nail job dont peel because of powder inbetween the nail and polish. What I LIKED: you didn’t get a 3 min back run with a warm towel which was GREAT. Also taking off old nail polish they don’t soak your fingers into solution, they take cotton and foil and put just the wet cotton on ur nails and wrap it in foil so it stays. That’s really nice because the polish remover can really dry out ur hands. Also after painting my nails and then WASHING my hands, they put my hands in wax and wrapped them. Never seen that done before. Made my hands nice and soft. The lavender smell is a little overpowering (like a cheap candle) but still nice. So over all my nails today cost $30 with a $5 tip. Will I go back again? No. Would I recommend? Yes, BUT really only for kids for basic mani. Or if u dont care. But who knows how the other techs are. I’m just a little picky. EDIT: SAME DAY AS MANI, just got out of the shower and as u can tell in the photo there is alot of skin left over (and that’s only 2 fingers)

Fantastic, fantastic service. I had a full acrylic set done, and my mother-in-law got a gel manicure and a standard pedicure. I’ve never had such an attentive and professional nail technician. Leah was marvelous, and if I lived closer I would be here all the time. Bonus: parafin hand treatment, super relaxing massage with hot towel during the manicure, and of course a super clean environment.

I had been to this place a year ago and it had been the best pedicure I had ever had.I decided to take my husband there, I called to ask if they had availability and they said to come in. I arrived 10 minutes after calling. They immediately sat us down. They started filling the water as I was sitting down. They did not soak my feet first, they started taking taking off my nail polish and cutting my nails without soaking my feet. They didn’t scrub my feet much, no lotion, no personality. They rushed us! They put one coat of nail polish on my toes. They did my pedicure, including painting my nails in 20 minutes! DO NOT GO HERE! If you want a quality pedicure with very friendly people, go to Fantasic Nails on state rd in Dartmouth. That is my typical place and this place will never see me again!

Great place, a bit more pricey than other local nail salons but totally worth it. They wrap your hands in a warm towel then do a paraffin wax on your hands and also a 3 minute neck/ shoulder massage with a warm towel. I started going here 1 year ago and won’t go anywhere else. They do get busy on weekends so it’s better to call ahead for an appointment.
